New features for the users of Lavoro Agro

Exciting news for Lavoro Agro users in Paraná and Mato Grosso! Stenon has launched a new sales documentation tool within the Stenon WebApp, making it easier than ever to document sales following real-time soil measurements and nitrogen recommendations with FarmLab.
This feature enhances the WebApp’s user experience by integrating agronomic data with sales tracking, creating a seamless workflow for Lavoro consultants. Now, consultants can generate sales reports directly within the same tool they use for agronomic reports—eliminating the need for extra manual work and external tools.
For Lavoro, this update provides valuable insights into the relationship between input sales and FarmLab measurements, supporting more data-driven decision-making. By streamlining documentation and improving usability, this feature further strengthens Stenon’s commitment to providing cutting-edge digital solutions for the agricultural industry.

New customer’s feedback from Kazakhstan

Since 2023, our exclusive partners in Kazakhstan and North Kyrgyzstan, Eurasia Group, have been bringing Stenon’s technology to local growers. As adoption continues to grow, they are receiving increasing positive feedback from satisfied customers.
The benefits of using Stenon’s technology are clear—growers can optimize their fertilizer strategy, gain instant access to real-time soil data, and implement precision agriculture practices. This not only ensures efficient fertilizer use but also helps maintain target yields.
For example, one of Eurasia Group’s customers leveraged Stenon’s measurements and fertilizer recommendations to adjust application rates. Instead of applying a uniform rate, they used 100 kg/ha on low-nitrogen areas and 90 kg/ha on high-nitrogen areas as detected by Stenon’s analysis. As a result, they reduced fertilizer costs by up to 10% while maintaining productivity.
We’re proud to support Eurasia Group in offering innovative services that elevate agricultural practices in the region. They provide growers with a range of service packages, ensuring every farmer can find the best fit for their business needs.
If you’re in Kazakhstan or North Kyrgyzstan, get in touch with us today—we’d be happy to connect you with Eurasia Group!
Agricultural news spanning the globe
In this month’s reading tips, we explore the often-overlooked consequences of over-fertilization in agriculture, focusing on its detrimental effects on soil health and crop yields.
Implementing the right fertilization strategies is crucial for maintaining soil fertility and maximizing crop yields. Balanced nutrient management ensures that plants receive the necessary nutrients without degrading soil quality or causing environmental harm. Excessive nitrogen application, for example, can lead to soil acidification, compromising soil structure and reducing nutrient availability. This degradation weakens root development, hinders water infiltration, and ultimately lowers crop productivity. Additionally, over-fertilization disrupts the delicate balance of soil microorganisms essential for nutrient cycling, further diminishing soil fertility and plant health.
Research shows that many countries could reduce nitrogen fertilizer use without sacrificing yields. This indicates that excessive fertilization is not only harmful to the environment but also an inefficient use of resources that does not necessarily improve agricultural productivity.
The importance of proper fertilization is underscored by Kazakhstan’s significant wheat losses. The country loses approximately 10 million tonnes of wheat annually due to insufficient mineral fertilizer application, highlighting the crucial role of a balanced fertilization strategy in sustaining agricultural output.
By adopting data-driven fertilization practices, the agricultural industry can enhance soil health, increase yields, and ensure long-term sustainability. This is precisely where Stenon’s technology makes a difference. Our innovative real-time soil analysis solution empowers farmers to optimize their fertilization strategies with precision. Contact us today to learn how Stenon can help you and your customers improve soil management and maximize yield potential.
